The Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach originally slated to open back in 2016 finally welcomed the first guests earlier this month.

The all-suite condo-hotel property has 290 residence units complete with Italian marble bathrooms, gourmet kitchens, and private balconies or terraces.

Located just 6 miles away from the Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, the 24 story beachfront resort has three dining options.

The Atlas Cocktail Lounge is the lobby bar, Terra Mare is the all-day dining restaurant, Cornucopia is an onsite market and coffee bar that also serves pizzas, pastries, and organic juices, and Spinnaker is the pool bar and grill.

There is an onsite spa, and the sixth floor holds the 20,000 square foot Sky Deck, which holds a heated fresh water pool.

There is a daily resort fee of $35, which includes:

• 2 bottles of water in the guest room, and on the pool deck
• 2 beach chairs and an umbrella
• yoga classes
• 2 hour bike rental for 2 adults
• 20% off spa servies
• local and toll-free calls

Valet parking is $45, and there is no self-parking option available.

Room types range from studio suites to 3 bedroom suites, and there are 3 penthouses as well.

The studio suite that has either views of the intracoastal waterways or the ocean has 480 square feet, including two queen beds, a furnished balcony, soaking tub, 50 inch HTDV, and galley kitchen with subzero refrigerator. Here’s a look at the floor layout for the studio suite (images from Hilton’s website) –

Interestingly, when I did a random search to find rates, the 650 square foot Jr suite with King bed popped up as being slightly less expensive than the 450 square foot studio with 2 Queen beds ($290 vs $299).

The penthouses didn’t show up at all during any of my searches, but here’s the layout for the luxury 1700 square foot 3 bedroom/ 3 bathroom waterfront terrace suite that includes full kitchen and breakfast bar –

Pricing looks to be about $2,000 per night (not including that pesky resort fee).

Purchase prices for the residences are reportedly between $400,000-$700,000 for studios, and in excess of $5 million for the penthouses.

To kick off the grand opening, the Conrad Fort Lauderdale Beach is offering a special deal.

You’ll get a complimentary upgrade to the next suite category, and a $50 food and beverage credit per day. With only a few dollars difference between the grand opening rate and the member rate on some days, this looks like a really good offer. Unfortunately, the grand opening bonus doesn’t allow the $50 daily food and beverage credit to be used at Terra Mare, the all-day dining restaurant. The terms & conditions don’t mention the exclusion of room service though, so that is a possibility.

Also, if you stay 3 nights or more, you’ll get 5,000 bonus Hilton Honors points per stay. You can only earn the bonus points once, and must be a member of Hilton Honors to qualify.

Here’s a handy booking link using the grand opening offer.

Note that stays must be completed by March 31, 2018.

Ironically, I had a prior booking for this property. This really helped; since this was a better deal than the corporate rate I was using. Thanks!
