The Holiday Inn & Suites across from Universal Orlando is a popular place for families to stay while visiting the theme park that includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, SeaWorld, and Gatorland. It has free shuttle service to the park as well as Disney, and literally is across the street from Universal Orlando. There is no resort fee and parking is free. It also has a TGIFriday’s onsite.

Groupon is offering a deal right now for a “secret” 3 star hotel near Universal Studios with rates starting at $59 that sleep four to a room. Though the hotel name isn’t unveiled until purchase and you are never 100% sure which property it is, I believe this property is the Holiday Inn & Suites across from Universal Orlando. It gets 3.5 stars on Tripadvisor.

Convinced I found a match, I started comparing rates.

The King Bed Suite that sleeps up to 4 goes for $106 on Holiday Inn’s website for Saturday August 22, 2015 at the nonrefundable rate with the best available rate of $124.

Rooms with two beds sleeping up to 4 start at $59, and if you want to be close to the action this Groupon offer has dates that go through December. Will I buy this Getaway? Probably not, but if I had a bunch of kids and was looking to save money I would definitely consider this Groupon deal.

Note that once the booking is made, you cannot change the dates.
