Marriott is offering 5,000 Marriott Rewards bonus points per night at Fairfield Inn & Suites Charlotte Uptown through January 6, 2015. Only one night is required in order to receive the bonus, and there are no requirements like weekend or weeknights.

Here’s a booking link.

Use promotional code M11 when booking.

Checking the date of November 15, 2014 for one night the price came to $189, the same as the best available rate.

Looking at other dates for November 22, some in December and so in January, the price dropped down to $99 a night and the advance purchase rate was $20 lower but the promotional rate still stayed the same as the best available rate.

Note that even though the Marriott’s promotional page states that this promo is only good for stays through January 6, 2015 the hotel’s booking page says January 9, 2015.

I wouldn’t go out of my way to stay here to get the points, but what I like about this promotion is that the rates are not advance purchase and are fully refundable. There is only one night required to get the bonus and there is no weekend or weeknight requirement.
