Today is the 25th of December, which means Christmas is finally here! Hopefully everyone traveling has gotten to their final destination with enough time to relax and enjoy.

I’ve been lucky enough to spend time with a lot of wonderful family this season, and even though there were some cookie mishaps (one batch was rock-hard, and another had waaay too much molasses), there have been a lot of laughs and fun. Thankfully I’ve gotten everywhere I needed with minimal flight delays, and thanks to American’s baggage policy for Executive Platinums my husband and I even got to check all the bags we needed, which you can see a picture of here.

  1. Do you know that Christmas trees are edible? Many parts of pines, spruces, and firs can be eaten. The needles are a good source of vitamin C. Pine nuts, or pine cones, are also a good source of nutrition.

Well, if eating trees is your thing, go wild! 🙂

  2. Spent the first half of the day visiting with various family, then back home, made sure my 92 year old neighbor got some cookies and gifts before heading out the door to have a big dinner with friends. A wonderful day! Wish there were more days of peace joy and togetherness as a nation. We could all use that type of quality time!

  3. spending the day with my niece and nephew riding their new bikes from Santa – Merry Christmas to all! and may this next year be filled with much JOY

  4. With family on the other coast, Christmas is just not the same. Also, in AZ, temps are usually balmy. Regardless having a Merry Christmas with DH!
