Are you heading to Bogota, Colombia soon and looking for a hotel? Notables include a Sofitel, JW Marriott, a couple of Hilton properties, and a W Hotel.

Colombia is also getting a brand new Four Seasons Hotel, called the Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota which is now taking reservations and is set to open mid-October. The property is located in Zona G, known for restaurants galore. The hotel also has 24-hour room service and a gourmet restaurant.

To kick off the grand opening, Four Seasons Bogota is offering a $100 hotel credit for guests staying in a Premier guest room (or higher) for two nights or more between October 15 and December 31, 2015. There’s also a buy-two-get-one-free offer for Suites.

The lowest room type is the Clasico, with 242 square feet. Checking random dates it looks like the rate starts at $399 a night. The furnishings include leather and hand carved wood, with marble bathroom and custom made bed. Oddly, the only bed choice is a Queen.

It is only two room types up with the Deluxe at 430 square feet that you get the choice of a King Bed. The Premier room one level above the Deluxe at $469 has 479 square feet.

The Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota may be brought under Amex’s Fine Hotels & Resorts (FHR) program at some point which offers breakfast for two in addition to room upgrades (when available) and an amenity like $100 property or spa credit. This is often a really great deal especially if you are just staying for one night. Because this property is not open yet, it may take some time for the Four Seasons Hotel Casa Medina Bogota to be added though. If you are planning to spend a couple nights at the hotel anyway, the $100 credit may be a good option until then plus you’ll get a King bed since the lowest room categories don’t offer one.
