How to Get 1,000 Free HHonors Points by Changing Your Password

Back in February, Hilton announced that they’d offer folks 1,000 HHonors points for proactively changing their account passwords. People rushed to claim the points only to find that the promo wasn’t ready for prime-time. Today, View From The Wing and One Mile at a Time have informed us that the promo is now live and ready. What are you waiting for? Here’s how to claim your free points!

The 1,000 Hilton HHonors points are only available to those that change their password by March 25, 2015. If the password was changed prior to March 12, 2015 (say in February) you still need to create a new one in order to get the 1,000 points.

For folks that aren’t aware of the offer, when going to their login page there’s even a banner to light the way.

Once I entered my new password I was taken to a page that confirmed it was accepted.

If you do not update your password by April 1, 2015 you’ll be prompted to create a new one when signing in the next time.
