In honor of Valentine’s Day, Expedia has a coupon offering $50 off a hotel stay of $200 or more between February 13, 2015 and March 31, 2015. The booking must be made on Expedia’s mobile app via smart phone or tablet by 11:59pm PST Monday February 16, 2015.

This offer is intended for first-time mobile Expedia.com US users, but when I wrote about this type of sale in 2014 some readers who had booked before received a coupon that said it was good for only $25 but when it was applied it actually turned out to be $50. Offer: Receive an instant $50 mobile coupon discount off a hotel stay using the Expedia® hotels app on a smart phone or tablet downloaded from the App Store or Google Play. The price of the qualifying booking must be at least $200.
How to redeem: Access the mobile app on your smart phone or tablet and select a qualifying hotel stay. On the hotel billing and delivery page you will see a drop-down feature that states “Enter a coupon or promotion code”. Touch the drop-down feature and enter the code that was sent to you via text message.
Restrictions: Coupon must be redeemed on Expedia.com by 11:59 PM (Pacific Time) on February 16, 2015, for travel between February 13, 2015 and March 31, 2015. Limit one (1) coupon per user account and per qualifying hotel booking.
