TripAdvisor is running a contest where entrants submit ads explaining how TripAdvisor made a big difference in helping them find the right hotel. The grand prize winner will receive $25,000 and have their ad run on TV and social media channels. 5 Runner-Up winners will get $1,000 and their ads will run on TripAdvisor’s social media channels.

To enter, make an ad telling your story about finding the perfect hotel using TripAdvisor.

Here’s a link to the entry page.

Here are the detailed instructions from their website –

“Create a 15- or 30-second TripAdvisor ad. Feel free to add other parts of your trip to highlight your experience, but be sure that the main focus is finding the perfect hotel with TripAdvisor. Once you record, edit and refine your ad, click the Submit Tab, enter your information, and upload your video by November 13, 2014.â€

All entries must be received before November 28, 2014. The contest is open to residents of the US, France and Australia who are 18 years of age or older.

I find TripAdvisor helpful some of the time and $25,000 isn’t too shabby. This could be a fun contest to enter especially if you have a great story to tell or really want to get your 15 seconds of fame on TV. Here is a link to some of the past winner ads.
