30% Bonus on Club Carlson Purchased Points

I received an email that Club Carlson is offering an extra 30% Gold Points when buying between 10,000 and 40,000 points. Purchases must be made by October 31, 2014.

Gold Points can be purchased starting in increments of 1,000 points for $7, all the way up to 40,000 points per year. For this promotion, starting at purchases of 10,000 points you’ll receive the 30% bonus.

The Terms & Conditions of this offer say that these bonus points will not apply to the maximum, which means that you could actually end up with more than 40,000 purchased points this year.

If you buy the full 40,000 you’d get a 12,000 bonus for a total of 52,000 Gold Points for $280.00. This is a good deal, but tough to say if Club Carlson will run an even better promotion at the end of the year. I don’t need to top off my account right now for any upcoming trips so I’ll hold off for now.
