Courtyard by Marriott is the official hotel of the NFL. Teaming up with with USA Football (an independent nonprofit), they are paying tribute to youth and high school football coaches around the United States that inspire greatness in others.

Called their “inspiring greatness” program, players, coaches, parents and volunteers can nominate someone by clicking here. All entries must be submitted by December 30, 2014.
The nominated coach then completes a questionnaire, and USA Football will choose one winner in both markets from 13 of the NFL’s Thursday Night Football as well as two overall nationwide winners (28 total). Winners will be chosen based on dedication, commitment and community volunteerism.

Winners will get a chance to meet a local NFL legend at a VIP invite-only tailgate party at a Courtyard hotel prior to that week’s NFL Thursday Night Football telecast. From Courtyard they’ll also receive a commemorative helmet trophy and a $1,000 equipment donation good towards the youth or high school football program of their choice. At the end of the season four winners will get the chance to be drawn for an additional $4,000 grant.

USA Football Executive Director Scott Hallenbeck said, “Youth and high school football coaches do so much more than teach a game to our kids. They’re role models whose positive words and actions can make a significant difference in the life of a young person. We’re proud to join Courtyard to salute these women and men who personify the sport’s inherent values in extraordinary ways.â€

Here’s the question – “What’s the greatest number of individual rushing #touchdowns to happen in a single game?”

Use #AllPro in your answer.

My knowledge of football is slim, so I’ll graciously let someone else win the contest instead (plus I don’t know the answer without doing an internet search!).

  1. Maybe they could add a contribution to domestic violence charities as well. Sorry I couldn’t help it. It seems like a nice contest but the initial equipment grant seems a little weak at $1,000. That doesn’t buy much for say a high school team.

    1. @DaninMCI, it sure seems like $1,000 doesn’t go far these days so $10,000 or even $2,000 would have done more. But, $1,000 is certainly better than nothing. Plus there’s a helmet trophy. ;P
