When testing random dates of October 8 -12, 2014 at the Radisson Barra in Rio de Janeiro I was glad to see that the cancellation policy on the promotion allowed full refund up until the day before check-in.
When searching other dates it was easy to find the blackout dates, since I could just click on the calendar to see the full schedule.
