Swiss hotelier Cesar Ritz redefined luxury accommodations when he first managed The Ritz in Paris, and the Carlton Hotel in London. The Ritz-Carlton brand expanded worldwide, and growing under the leadership of Horst Schulze the credo became “We are Ladies and Gentlemen serving Ladies and Gentlemen”. With 85 properties and more to come, the Ritz-Carlton name is synonymous with personalized service, luxury and attention to detail. Ritz-Carlton’s generous loyalty program, Ritz-Carlton Rewards, has given me the chance to visit some of their properties.

This week I will be bringing you 7 Ritz-Carlton hotel reviews – I hope you enjoy them!

Here are the properties I will be covering, in no particular order:

Ritz-Carlton Santiago
Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe
Ritz-Carlton Vienna
Ritz-Carlton Washington DC
Ritz-Carlton Toronto
Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel
Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay

To win the Ritz-Carlton Gift Card, leave a comment on this post (one per person, please) on which Ritz-Carlton property is your favorite, or which one you would love to stay at if you haven’t been to any yet. I’ll randomly draw a winner on Thursday, July 10, 2014 using random.org to receive a $100 Ritz-Carlton gift card.

    1. Thanks for reading Jeffrey! The Laguna Niguel Ritz is one of my favorites, and if you go I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

  1. I would love to stay at Half Moon Bay! I already have a trip planned to that area at the end of the year and this would be the perfect hotel.

  2. Had lunch at the new Ritz Rancho Mirage – wow, great food and incredible service! Looking forward to an upcoming stay.

  3. Your review of the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel is great. It sounds like an awesome place to stay.

  4. Of the properties I have visited (the three in Ga., Amelia Island, and Philly), I’d say Amelia Island is my favorite. But, I’ve heard such nice things about Half-Moon Bay, that I’d use the gift card as an excuse to check it out! (My FAVORITE Ritz is the one in Paris, but I don’t think it’s affiliated any longer. It is worth the trip, though. Unbelievable property.)

  5. Ritz Carlton in vienna is beautiful, very modern centrally located and amazing attention to service

  6. I have been to the Ritz in Singapore, and it is one of the most exquisite experience I’ve had. Despite not being the newest building, its room was very comfortably sized, and the service is just top-notch.
