Sheraton Wine Program Spotlights Riesling
From July through September 20, 2014, Sheraton will be spotlighting Riesling across the US in a new program called Sheraton Selects Spotlight. Participating properties will offer Riesling wine flights, food pairings and guided tastings.
The new program includes two Riesling offerings on all participating Sheraton Selects menus in North America, and some properties will offer three, along with food to compliment each Riesling wine.
To kick off the program, Sheraton New York Times Square will host wine tastings for guests and locals at Sheraton Social Hour. Â Sheraton Social Hour at the Times Square location (811 7Th Ave at 52nd Street) is open to hotel guests and walk-ins on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 5-8pm.
Premium pours are available by the glass and bottle, and you can choose two 2-ounce pours for $5
Red Wines offered: Villa Cafaggio, Chianti Classico Bodegas Olarra, Rioja, “Añares”, Reserva Spice Route, “Chakalaka” Robert Oatley, Shiraz
White Wines: St.-Urbans-Hof, “Old Vines”, Qualitätswein, Riesling Chateau Ste. Michelle, “Horse Heaven Vineyard”, Sauvignon Blanc (90 points) Ferrari-Carano, Fumé Blanc La Chablisienne, “La Pierrelée”, Chablis

The bar lounge has food and premium water to complement the wines.
Note that all guests must be 21 or older to purchase/consume alcohol.
