DoubleTree’s 12 Days of Free Cookies, Plus Their Contest for a Free Hotel Night

DoubleTree by Hilton is welcoming the holidays with none other than their famous, gooey, delicious cookies. To share the welcoming spirit of the holidays, DoubleTree is encouraging people everywhere to stop in to one of their properties in the United States between today and December 24, 2016 for a free, warm signature cookie. You don’t need to be a guest at the hotel, they simply want to put smiles on faces during the season.

DoubleTree is also running a contest via Instagram that goes through December 19, 2016.

To enter, follow DoubleTree on Instagram and comment on their Instagram post about the contest with your favorite drink pairing for the DoubleTree cookie, using the hashtag #12daysofchristmas.

Ten winners will each receive a Be My Guest certificate good for a free night at any DoubleTree worldwide.

Wait a minute, milk isn’t the best thing to pair with chocolate chip cookies?

Created by the mixologists at the almost-open Hilton New York Times Square West is a pairing guide called “Chocolate Chip Cookies and Drinks: A Pairings Guide” for what cocktails and mocktails go well with DoubleTree cookies. Here’s a sample –

If you don’t like cookies, you can always leave your free DoubleTree cookie out for Santa. According to the study, 1 in 5 hotel guests leave out cookies for Santa.

A few more fun facts revealed by the study are that 30% of US adults have re-gifted homemade cookies and passed them off as their own, and that 68% of couples who leave cookies and milk out for Santa on Christmas Eve know exactly who will eat the cookies.
