Are you a Travel Startup? Do you have the next new hot mobile travel app?

One of the toughest parts about bringing your ideas to life as an entrepreneur is having the proper funding and guidance to get off the ground.

EyeforTravel’s Startup & Innovation in Travel Awards contest is being held October 6-7, 2016 at the Palms Hotel in las Vegas as part of their conference, and it offers you the chance to get your ideas in front of some very influential folks.

Twelve start-ups will be given the opportunity to pitch to a panel of investors and judges.

From there, two will advance on to showcase for senior executives at companies such as as Hyatt Hotels, TripAdvisor, Skyscanner, American Airlines, Priceline and Southwest Airlines.

I didn’t expect to know any of the names of the past finalists, but was surprised that almost all of them were familiar (from EyeforTravel’s website) –

Contest applicants will get exposure, advice, and even funding in a big way. Conference attendees will vote live, and a single winner will emerge from the competition. The entry fee is a bit steep at $1295, but it includes access to both days of the conference plus networking opportunities.

The deadline to enter is September 8, 2016.
