Marriott has their latest Megabonus promotion up and you can register for by April 15, 2016 for stays between February 1, 2016 and May 15, 2016.

Rather than have a single bonus offer for all members of Marriott Rewards, the Megabonus offer this time varies by person.

The bonus offer I received by email says after completing two qualifying stays (Ritz-Carlton property stays count as well) I’ll have earned a free night. After I achieve the free night, I’ll get a new bonus points offer that I can then register for.

Your offer may be completely different, as some readers have received offers for 15,000 bonus points after 20 stays.

If you don’t know what offer you are eligible for, you can follow this link to be taken to the sign in page for your Marriott Rewards account and then select the Megabonus link.

If you got the same offer I did, the free night award will be deposited into your account within 3-5 business days after the second qualifying stay. The free night award can be redeemed at any category 1-5 property, but note that the T&C say that the free night must be redeemed within six months.

If you’re a Marriott Rewards member, I recommend registering. There is no penalty if you don’t complete the bonus offer, and this way you don’t have to remember to register if you do end up staying a couple times later on this quarter.

Full Terms & Conditions:

A ‘stay’ is defined as consecutive nights spent at the same hotel, regardless of check-in/check-out activity. Registration is required. If a member completes two qualifying stays during the promotional period, an additional offer will be unlocked and become available in the member’s account within 2-3 days after the second qualifying stay.
The member may not receive additional notification except through their online member account and must register for the additional offer within two (2) weeks from the date the additional offer becomes available.
The additional offer will only unlock after the 2nd paid stay for members who are not targeted for any additional MegaBonus offers.
Maximum one (1) free night award earned with this promotion per member to be redeemed for a future stay at participating Marriott Rewards category 1-5 properties.
Free night award will expire six (6) months after the date of issuance.

    1. Scott, do you have your profile set to earn miles instead of points? The T&C of the promo says that members electing to earn miles are not eligible for the promotion, so if you change your profile it might open up registration to you.

        1. Scott, if you haven’t gotten an email with your personalized offer and cannot register, I’d go ahead and call Marriott Rewards to see if they can help. Hope it works out!
