Marriott International in conjunction with Galaxy Entertainment have announced the location of the world’s first All-Suite Ritz-Carlton Hotel. Where will it be?

The all-suite Ritz-Carlton Macau is set to open in 2015, along with the world’s largest JW Marriott called the JW Marriott Macau.

The Ritz-Carlton Macau will have 250 guest room suites, in one and two-bedroom configurations. There will also be a club level, and the whole hotel will be located on the top floors of the Galaxy Macau.

The Galaxy Macau for those not familiar, is a huge Asian resort destination located on the Cotai Strip in Macau, China. In addition to gaming areas, there is a wave pool and artificial beach, restaurants, hotels, and entertainment that includes a laser light show.

The Ritz-Carlton Macau is part of Phase II of Galaxy Macau (named the “World Class, Asian Heart” phase), and will have a private dining Chinese restaurant, outdoor rooftop pool with Jacuzzi, pool bar and private cabanas. There will also be a spa, and a Ritz Bar that has views over the Cotai skyline.

Booking is already available, and choosing a random date in January for one night via the Galaxy Macau’s website the site returned pricing of 3388 HKD, which is around $436. The high price makes me think there are no special rates uploaded just yet.

When looking on Ritz-Carlton’s website, there are two packages for the new resort listed. One is for 20% off when booked during the summer months, and the other is called the Unlimited Suite Experience which includes a night’s stay, dinner, transportation to and from the airport, and access to the Galaxy Macau’s resort deck with wave pool.

The lowest level of room is the Premier Suite with 538 square feet, and the top offering is the two bedroom Carlton suite with over 1600 square feet. There are no pictures on Ritz’s website yet of the Carlton suite nor the Club suite, but the bathroom for the Premier Suite looks interesting with a round tub in the middle.

The Ritz-Carlton’s comfortable 250 room layout will be dwarfed by the JW Marriott Hotel Macau, which will have 1,100 rooms and suites. The JW will also have a Chinese restaurant, swimming pool, spa, fitness center and salon.

The projected 2015 opening of The Ritz-Carlton and JW hotels in Macau are part of Phase 2 of Galaxy Macau’s “World Class, Asian Heart†Macau development.
