Since EVA Air first introduced their Hello Kitty jet service, travelers have been charmed. One Mile at a Time wrote a great trip report and Heels First Travel reported that EVA Air would be bringing the popular flight to Paris routes.

Now there’s a Hello Kitty Convention, the first ever of which being held in Los Angeles this year from October 30 – November 2, 2014.

You can get your tickets here.

Hello Kitty’s official birthday party on November 1 is being held at the host hotel The Line, and guests of the hotel can look forward to some special treats.

According to their website, there are two different stay packages being offered.

1. Hello Kitty Sweet Stay Package, which includes a Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary welcome kit upon check-in. Guests staying there the evening of Saturday November 1 get an invite to Hello Kitty’s birthday party with limited quantities available. Magic of Miles’ sources say that the welcome kit may be similar to a swag bag with a Hello Kitty welcome card, a Hello Kitty cupcake treat, bottle of water, and some other goodies.

2. Hello Kitty Super Sweet Stay Package, which is Hello Kittied to the max. Guests get the Hello Kitty 40th Anniversary welcome kit at check-in, the invite to the Hello Kitty birthday party (if staying there on November 1), a stay in a Hello Kitty themed room and “lots of supercute surprises for guests to enjoy and take home at the end of their stay”. Rumors are that the themed rooms will include Hello Kitty slippers.

Here’s a booking link for the Sweet Stay Package, and one for the Super Sweet Stay Package.

Unfortunately the Super Sweet package is super sold out right now, but I took a look at the calendar and found availability for the Hello Kitty Sweet Stay Package on November 1.

The hotel will also offer Hello Kitty food, though exactly what that’ll be is still under wraps. This sounds like a fun event and a good opportunity to check out The Line hotel which has only been around for about a year. In one week you could take in the Hello Kitty Convention, stay at the official host Hello Kitty hotel, and take a Hello Kitty flight. Would that be over the top?
