You can earn double Best Western Rewards points via a promotion they are running, when staying at any of their properties in Asia and the Middle East now through September 30, 2014.

Did you know that Best Western has over 70 properties sprinkled throughout the following cities?

Asia –

Bangladesh
Cambodia
China
India
Indonesia
Japan
Laos
Malaysia
Myanmar
Pakistan
Philippines
Sri Lanka
South Korea
Thailand
Vietnam

Middle East –

Bahrain
Jordan
Oman
Qatar
Saudi Arabia
Kuwait

I admit that I did not know. Sometimes you just need a comfortable, quiet room where you can get some good sleep and don’t need all the fancy add-ons. Or maybe you do want all the frills of a 5 star property, but the lowest rate is just more than you have in the budget. I’m a believer in joining a hotel program even if you stay there once, because usually even small amounts of accumulated points can be used for something.

Here’s a link to the participating properties.

You must register before your stay in order to receive the double points.

Here is a link to the Terms & Conditions, which do not specify that the double points earning has a cap. This means that every time you stay on a qualifying rate during the promotional period you’ll earn double points.
