Are you in San Diego for Comic-Con 2014? Courtyard by Marriott will be offering fun events for attendees at their Super Hero HQ mobile unit. Located at the Interactive Zone at Petco Park, the Courtyard @ Super Hero HQ fun will run from July 24 – July 27, 2014 from 9am to 9pm.

A Hollywood special prosthetics FX team will be onsite offering free make-up transformations and touch-ups.

Inside the mobile unit, fans can bring their comic book character to life, choose a backdrop, personalize a text, and share their new look socially.

While inside, they can relax while trying the next generation of hotel room amenities.

Courtyard will also host live fan chats outside the mobile unit in a staging area, with TV zombie hunter Reedus, “Game of Thrones” series author George R.R. Martin, and “The Walking Dead” make-up designer Greg Nicotero.

Courtyard is also running a cosplay contest for attendees to be crowned “King” or “Queen”, finalists will be selected on their innovative looks, and winners will be crowned by Reedus himself.

Follow @CourtyardHotels for updates on surprises and star appearances during the event.

The events are free, but Marriott Rewards members receive a “fast pass†to skip the lines.
