Park Hyatt is Hyatt’s luxury chain with 34 mid-sized properties and several more to open soon. It all started with Hyatt founder Jay Pritzker’s vision to create an intimate space that celebrates fine art, delicious food & wine, and truly personalized service. Hyatt’s generous loyalty program, Gold Passport, has given me the opportunity to visit some of these properties on a regular basis.

This week I will be bringing you 7 Park Hyatt hotel reviews – I hope you enjoy them.

Here are the properties I will be covering, in no particular order:

Park Hyatt Tokyo
Park Hyatt Paris
Park Hyatt Chicago
Park Hyatt Beijing
Park Hyatt Shanghai
Park Hyatt Zurich
Park Hyatt Maldives
Park Hyatt Maldives Part II

  1. The Park Hyatt Shanghai for sure! Have always wanted to go there, and have yearned to stay here ever since opening and discovering the location, so high up. Park Hyatts are always stunning and sumptuous!

The Park Hyatt Maldives is my favourite. Hopefully I can go there next year.

    1. Thanks for reading Leon, and congrats on achieving Diamond status! Hope you get to enjoy the perks in the Maldives next year.

  9. For me, Paris is the one I want to stay at the most. Haven’t had a chance to stay at any Park Hyatt, though…

  10. Will be staying at my first PH, Paris Vendome, in August with my family (2 rooms). We are all very excited about it. A gift card would certainly help with breakfast. 🙂

  11. I would love to stay at the new Park Hyatt New York, the property looks absolutely fantastic and I’m sure it will be one of the top hotels in the city!

  12. We would leave the PH Vendome after breakfast and be gone until dark. Yet they always addressed us by name. The staff was amazing and always made us feel at home.

  13. I’ve only stayed at one Park Hyatt (so far) and it was in Sydney. We loved the experience and the upgraded room with views of the Opera House. Can’t wait to try another one out!

  14. Would love to stay at the park hyatt Maldives. Only stayed at the PH DC and it was very good; loved blue duck tavern.

  15. Park Hyatt Chicago has some of the best hotel restaurants and bars that I have ever been to! Such a classy place!

  16. Park Hyatt Paris Vendome; I feel no need to go back to Paris the city, but I’d return just to spend another few nights in that hotel

  17. My favorite one would be Park Hyatt Tokyo. I learned the hotel basically from a movie – Lost In Translation. As an Asian American and raised in a traditional Asian family I do feel the culture difference. I guess I picked that one because I love that movie.

  18. I had actually never stayed at a Park Hyatt before, though I would be interested in trying out Hyatt Tokyo (as I plan to visit Japan eventually). 🙂

  19. Will stay at our first Hyatt in Sydney in September and would definitely be able to use the $100. Of your blog, the Park Hyatt Tokyo looks the best.

  20. I would love to stay at the Park Hyatt in Maldives of course, but would also love to try the Park Hyatt in Buenos Aires.

  21. Huge fan of Hyatts but have never stayed at a Park Hyatt. That will change this year, we have stays at the PH Sydney, PH Melbourbe, and PH Tokyo. Next on our list would be Paris and Milan, hopefully soon!

  22. Have loved Park Hyatts in Sydney, Istanbul, Seoul, Paris, Zurich, and Washington, DC. Looking forward to Tokyo and Shanghai next year.

  23. Park Hyatt Shanghai! I visit Shanghai regularly, and while the city have a range of nice hotels, I have yet to try the Park Hyatt. 🙂 Thanks!

  24. I’ve only stayed at one Park Hyatt. That was in Tokyo and I LOVED it!
I know I’d enjoy any of the PH’s, but I think Maldives is next on my wish list.

  25. I’d love to stay at the Park Hyatt in Shanghai, where I could meet my daughter (who lives and works in China) for a girls getaway!

  26. I’ve stayed at PH Paris, PH Tokyo, and PH Paris and enjoyed meals at a few other Park Hyatts but I would have to say I liked PH Paris the best! Great experience and I’m only Platinum!

  27. hyatt regency huntington beach was great for a conference and the rest of the family hit disneyland

  28. Maldives! It has only 50 villas in the island and feel like you own the island. Getting there from Male airport quite something but once you stepped out of the boat, you are totally in a different place. Loved it!

  29. I’ve only stayed at one (Park Hyatt Paris), but next month I’ll have two more (Canberra and Melbourne) added to the list. I’d love to stay at PH Tokyo, if only for that view!

  30. I stayed at Park Hyatt Pusan, South Korea. The property is located right by the harbor. I loved the design of the hotel and the room. In the future, I would like to stay at other Park Hyatt properties, especially the Park Hyatt Paris~
    Thank you.

  31. As a photographer, I must say that Park Hyatt Maldives would be a dream come true. To go downthere, and be able to shoot some magnificent pictures, would be amazing.

  32. Park Hyatt Maldives – I’ve always wanted to go to the Maldives and I’ve heard this hotel is amazing.

  33. Park Hyatt Tokyo
Favorite city and I’ve heard so many good things about this place. Can’t wait to try it. I mayyyy in December =]]]

  34. Paris was delightful – for those of you who like to bring home the bath amenities (shampoo, soap, etc), this place has some of the best.

  35. My family still lives near Chicago so I almost never stay there… but I love the Park Hyatt Chicago.

  36. Park Hyatt Paris is currently at the top of my list, mostly because I’m scheduled to visit in September

  37. Park Hyatt Seoul is my favorite!
Rates are usually around US $400/night but at category 4, the annual stay certificate from chase hyatt can be used for a night.
Can’t go wrong with gangnam style!

  38. I have never had the pleasure to stay at a Park Hyatt hotel before but I would love to someday. Park Hyatt Tokyo, Paris, & Maldives are at the top of my list.

  39. Never stayed at any Park Hyatt but will soon at Chicago in the Fall. I’m also looking forward to redeeming the Hyatt credit card 2 free nights at the new flagship New York Park Hyatt next year!

  40. Park Hyatt Chicago. In a city of very large hotels, it’s a great smaller size and as luxurious as you’d expect from Park Hyatt. Great location on N. Michigan Ave.

  41. Park Hyatt Zurich was my favorite because it is so close to the Swiss Alps, Lake Lucerne, and some of the most beautiful areas in the world: Bernese Oberland, and the Penine alps

  42. The park hyatt Paris was the first hotel I stayed at with points three years ago. For my honeymoon we are looking to go back there and to see the new park hyatt Vienna.

  43. The park hyatt in tokyo SInce they upgraded me to the presidential suite it was a truly amazing and memorable experience.

  44. I’ve only been to Park Hyatt Milan which was amazing! But I would definitely want to check off every hotel on that list, starting with Tokyo and Paris.

  45. The Park Hyatt in Paris is absolutely great. We stayed in August of 2013 using 2 certificates from signing up for the Chase Hyatt card. The breakfast (included for Diamond members) was absolutely fantastic each morning. Our room was modern and had plenty of space to move around. The staff was so friendly and attentive and really goes out of their way to assist in any way needed. The location of this property is incredible. For those of you into “maximizing value of loyalty points”, this would be one of the properties you want to redeem your points/certificates at.
