Promotion: Club Carlson Radisson Blu Spring Bonus

Club Carlson has a spring promotion for stays at participating Radisson Blu hotels in Europe –

Stay 1 night, earn 1,000 bonus Gold points
Stay 2 nights, earn 2,000 bonus Gold points
Stay 3 nights or more, earn 3,000 bonus Gold points

Register before April 30th and book before May 30, 2014 for stays ending by May 31, 2014.

The Terms & Conditions say that the offer is only available at participating Radisson Blu Hotels across Germany, Switzerland, Belgium France, Sweden, Norway, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, and Russia. However, the link with participating hotels includes four locations in the US-

Radisson Blu Mall of America
Radisson Blu Warwick Hotel, Philadelphia
Radisson Blu Resort, Marin & Spa St. Martin
Radisson Blu Aqua Hotel Chicago

My guess was that stays at the US properties would not qualify, even if they are on the list of participating hotels. So I reached out to someone at Club Carlson, and they surprised me by saying that the US hotels listed would qualify for the bonus Gold points.

Overall I don’t see this as a great promotion, since up until recently (March 15) Club Carlson offered an online booking bonus for all hotels. Now it is just on a promotional basis. It is good news though, that the US properties are included this time.
